DeltaTRAK Releases New ThermoTrace Waterproof IR Laser Thermometer

PLEASANTON, CA -(Jan.30, 2009) - DeltaTRAK®, Inc., a leading innovator of cold chain management solutions and professional environmental monitoring products has released a new ThermoTrace infrared laser thermometer, model #15036. This non-contact, waterproof thermometer is lightweight, sleek and compact. It features laser sighting for instant surface temperature measurement of hard to reach places and moving objects. It is an ideal screening tool for food safety inspection.

The 15036 has an 8:1 field of view and features a variable emissivity range from 0.05 to 1.00, preset at 0.95. It can be operated at temperatures between 32° to 122° F (0° to 50° C) and will display temperatures from -67° to 662° F (-55° to 350° C). Accuracy specifications are rated from -4° to 626° F (-20° to 330° C).

Applications for this ThermoTrace infrared thermometer include quality assurance, manufacturing processes, industrial uses and food safety. Because this is a non-contact instrument, it can be used to read and monitor ovens, extreme surface temperature of solids and liquids, objects in motion, and odd shaped surfaces.
